App purpose and Approach
For the purpose of my app, it is a companion app that is made to be used throughout the entire festival experience, being the way to book tickets, look for information, and the way to navigate around the place when you are there. People have 5 pages to access that will help you the entire time at different stages.

The app idea is broken down into 5 pages: a home page with access to all the different features. The first page will be a landing page that the app will open up to, having a bento box design frame that will give access to the other pages in a user experience-oriented way by having things like boxes that say “Where to find food ” or ” Who’s playing this date.” This page will also feature a toaster pop-up which will be consistent throughout the app so users can navigate page to page.

For these, I wanted them to be a functional yet stylish start to my designs. I decided that I wanted to have something that included multiple ideas from swiping in cards to going down a list with the calendar and ticket loyalty cards. I didn’t start the idea of the bento yet as I wanted to explore other ideas too. For example, the map I wanted to keep the same, having the idea of a full overhead shot and a way to filter the different sections of the festival. The ideas I had changed as I was designing each one differently, but the core design stayed very similar to these on the final designs. Some of the ideas have been added to, for example, the ticket page final has a way to open the ticket and favorite the ticket as well as having a button to add the ticket to your “Basket”.
